You Helped Me!

First of thank you for putting this thread in the forum.
QuiltingSupport has been the biggest help for me. It's become my number one place to go to for quilting information.
When I found this site, I was just trying to learn quilting. The matriarchs of my family all did it, but they are no longer here to teach me.
I was fumbling my way through the simplest of tasks and directions for most patterns seemed unclear. I think they assumed the reader already knew the lingo.
The quilting terms page of this site is what drew me in. I was trying to figure out what was the difference between tying a quilt and stitching one.
After I got my answer I was hooked.
Then I read about how to get the sticky stuff off your iron when working with applique. Since I've started using the recommended method here, I've never had another problem like that again.
You saved my iron and my sanity.
Now there are so many free quilting patterns and designs, that I have to keep coming back for more.
I've used them as wall hangings and even put one on a t-shirt. It's going to be a gift this Christmas. Nothing says winter holidays quite like a homemade quilting gift. Right?
Anyway, I would just like to say thank you for making Quilting Support the wonderful site that it is, Rebecca.
I'll never be clueless again!
