T-Shirt Quilt Question

by Vicki

I want to do a couple of T-Shirt quilts. My question is what is the best way (or product) to TEMPORALLY stiffen the stretch material for piecing?

Wash Away
by: Rebecca

For a temporary fix, I like to use a wash away stabilizer that is fusible by iron.

Just use the heat of the iron to fuse to the back of the fabric and it will stabilize it until the item is washed. Then the stabilizer disintegrates in the wash.

One of my favorites to use, and least expansive, is Wash N Gone by Pellon.
