Memoried to Inspire Her

A friend had told me about her grandmother, who is 94 years old, kept saying,"She wish God would take her. She was tired and didn't have anything to live for."
They were going to have a surprise birthday party. In addition to this, some relatives she hadn't seen in 15 years were flying out for it.
I suggested making a " Memory Quilt" for her if she had some pictures we could use.
My friend had never quilted a day in her life, but we spent several days working together.
In the end, SHE made a Memory Quilt for her grandmother.
The pictures she found were wonderful for this project. One of grandma & her six brothers (at a young age), herself and her Navy husband, her and her living brothers (a more recent picture), and the last one of her children.
The label was made and this is the quilt.
She did everything other than the longarm quilting.
The label reads:
Thank you Gram
Because of you our family seams are sewn and stitched together with the Love you taught us.
