I bought a length of low-pile batting at the thrift store but when I got it home and unrolled it, I suspect it had likely been on the ground, having some pine needles and burrs stuck in it. I picked it clean, and it doesn’t seem to be too soiled but will it stand up to a delicate cycle in the washing machine, or fall apart? I’ve never washed batting by itself, always in the finished product.
