Irish Chain Strips Don’t Line Up!!

Hi everyone,


I am making an Irish Chain quilt from a pre cut kit. I made all of my 9 square patches. The 9 patch block are smaller than the solid blocks and are impossible to line up into strips.

Should I trim the solid blocks to match up with the 9 patch blocks?

Hi Janine,

Personally, I would. It would be an easy quick fix and I always prefer those. There is nothing like a quilting project not going right. I like to keep it as stress-free as possible!
