Solo Build It!

I am making quilt with a flannel quilt top with a flannel back and I am not sure what to use for a thin batting. I am getting mixed messages with a light loft batting and not sure if i should use a light loft polyester batting. Please let me know what you would use for the lightest batting. I want a cozy quilt but not a heavy quilt and two flannels will be warm to begin with.

Thank you. I will be looking forward to your suggestions.

To Bat or Not to Bat
by: Rebecca

Hi Becky,

Personally, if I wanted a quilt to be thin and it already has two layers of flannel material, I wouldn't even use batting. In warmer areas, it would most-likely be warm enough. In colder areas, like Colorado, it would be a good throw blanket. I guess it would all depend on how warm and thin you really want it.
