Feet to Yards
by: Rebecca

I first find out the amount of inches my top is long and wide.

Then add 8 inches to each measurement. This gives you a 4 inch grace all around. Later it can be trimmed before using a binding or it can be used as the final binding itself.

Translate the inches measurement directly to yards (easily done using a converter app). Or you can do it the old fashion way, which is a bit slower. I convert inches into feet (12 inches = 1 foot). Then feet into yards (3 feet = 1 yard).
