Have you ever had to make a quick quilting project for a new arrival coming soon?

The time just ticks away faster than your anticipated.

That's what happened to me when my latest grandson was about to be brought into this world.

On top of it, he was due near the winter holidays. Which is probably why it kept getting put off.

I've made a baby quilt for each of my grandchildren and I was determined not to let this one slip through my fingers.

Two weeks before he was born, I set aside a weekend to do nothing but work on his quilt.

It had been along time since there was a grandson. That made it a little more challenging to find the right fabrics for this project.

I found some Winny The Pooh printed fabric at my work, a local Walmart. It was sure to fit together with whatever materials I had stashed away.

Usually, my go to designs are done in log cabin fashion. This one was very similar, squares within squares.

It kinda grew into a life of it's own that resembles a tic tac toe layout.

The final result was a quick, easy, and terrific baby quilt to welcome the precious little guy home.
