My Granddaughters Are My Eyes

Our WIP (Work In Progress)

I’m working with my granddaughters who are my eyes and quality controllers as I am legally blind.

They are helping me with every step of making this quilt.

I choose my fabric with no idea of what we will do until it is in our hot little hands!

I have been teaching my quality controllers Zianna 9 and Ruby 7 to sew, quilt, design, crochet, and cook.

So, we choose our layer cake and set about making HST's (Half Square Triangles) and we are going to make a special applique and embroidered center piece.

It is a work in progress, but I would like to share our pictures.

Just to explain I am legally blind and have MS. So, when I say they truly are my quality controllers. They are both a whizz on the sewing machine and Grampa bought them their own Pfaff.

It sounds like you have some wonderful people around!

I wish there was more to read. You have a wonderful story to tell.

This is going to be a masterpiece and a quilt to be truly proud of.

I'm looking forward to seeing it when it is complete.
