I'm new to quilting.

I just purchased a pre quilted crib cover and am not sure how to stitch it.

Do I stitch all the way through and how will I finish it to cover the back?

I'm a little bit confused here.

Did you purchase the quilted crib cover already made or just a pattern to make one?

If it's pattern it should have directions. I would love to see what the directions should say.

For a project like this it would need elastic and ideally a backing fabric that is waterproof or water resistant.

The best way to quilt the backing and the pre quilted top is by quilting the stitches all the way through both layers.

Then sew the corners with the elastic, so the crib cover will wrap around the mattress.

If this doesn't help, please give us more information.

Thank you,

Lynn
